Welcome to our blog!

The purpose of this blog is to allow members of the fellowship which meets at Pleasant Valley Christian Center a forum to post teachings, insights, and prophesies that the Lord has blessed us with.

We have recently been studying the Feasts of the Lord written about in Leviticus 23, as well as other places in the Bible. They are 1st-Passover, 2nd-Unleavened Bread, 3rd-First Fruits, 4th -Pentecost, 5th-Trumpets, 6th-Day of Atonement, and 7th-Tabernacles.

These feasts were instituted by God for His people. He called them His seasons, feasts, divine appointments, and dress rehearsals. They are very prophetic in nature. For example, Jesus fulfilled the first four feasts exactly on the day and hour that they were celebrated. He will also fulfill the last three feast exactly on the times they are celebrated.

In future posting, I will be covering each of these feasts and their meanings for us today. You may think these are just Jewish feasts but God called them His feasts. You may think they only apply to Jews but, every true Christian has been grafted into the Jewish root that God established. I am not suggesting that we must 'legalistically' keep these feasts but, I am suggesting that they are important for all God's people to know and understand and that they are a prophetic roadmap for the future.
